On February 3, during Stockholm Design Days 2026, Kasthall welcomed international press to a morning presentation and breakfast focused on materiality, process and long-term quality. The visit provided insight into how Kasthall works with texture, colour and construction to create rugs for private residences, public spaces and architectural projects around the world. A central part of the presentation was an exclusive preview of an upcoming collaboration with Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby (both were present), ahead of its official launch later in the year. This collaboration reflects Kasthall’s approach to working with internationally recognised designers, where dialogue, technical development and material experimentation are key. The visit provided the press with a deeper understanding of how contemporary collaborations are anchored in Kasthall’s long-standing production knowledge and commitment to durability and longevity.
