On May 11, Grand Relations helped Iittala launch their new Ultima Thule vase together with the A/W collection. At the breakfast, Iittala presented the new collection with help from the Managing Director of Tapio Wirkkala Rut Bryk Foundation, Petra Wirkkala. who is also the granddaughter of Tapio Wirkkala. Iittala and Petra presented the vase collection by diving into Tapio Wirkkala’s previous objects and design history. The guests were also awarded a goodie bag containing one copy of the Ultima Thule candleholder. Grand Relations arranged the exclusive press viewing and was also responsible for inviting the press and communicating the new material to the media.
