On February 3, as part of Design Days in Stockholm 2026, the Scandinavian Design Embassy hosted a lunch and a presentation at the Residence of Finland in Stockholm. The event assembled representatives from Finnish design brands, highlighting the role of design as a cultural and economic bridge between Finland, Sweden and the international design community.
The Finnish Ambassador in Sweden welcomed the guests and introduced the initiative, underlining the importance of design and creative industries within Finland’s cultural diplomacy and international outreach. The presentation showcased a curated selection of contemporary Finnish design brands working across furniture, interiors, public space and material-driven design. Participating brands included Inno, Ihreborn, Nola, Mifuko, Saas Instruments and Taiga Concept. Together, the brands represent a broad spectrum of Finnish design, from industrial furniture and urban environments to craftsmanship rooted in social responsibility and sustainable production.
